The film also marked the launch of five other newcomers, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani. Mohabbatein also starred superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. It was a huge hit and started Kim's career in Bollywood.
