Katrina boogies with Baa Bahoo Aur Baby gang

Producers J. D Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, of Hat's off Productions, are known for always coming up with something off beat and novel in all their shows. Validating this fact further, their most watched show 'Baa Bahoo Aur Bab'y will see glamorous diva- Katrina Kaif mingling with the entire Thakker family.

The pretty actress says, 'This is the first time I have come on a daily show. The theme of this show is in sync with my upcoming film Singh Is King so to reach out to a larger audience; this is the place to be.'

J.D Majethia says, 'It was wonderful having Katrina on the sets. She is very accommodating and even tried speaking in Gujarati. If Akshay is the king then she is the queen in Singh Is Kinng.'

The diva actress looked ravishing in an orange sari and also danced on the title track of her upcoming film Singh Is Kinng.
She even tried mouthing a line in Gujarati 'Manne Bau Majaa Ave Che' to which the whole cast cheered her on in unison. The whole team was overjoyed to see Katrina among themselves and it became a dual celebration!!! For one it was Baby's birthday and the second goes without saying - The pristine Katrina

Govinda to concentrate on comedy for now

After his superlative performance in last year's blockbuster, Partner, ex-comedy king, Govinda has been inundated by offers from makers. As expected, most of the roles that he has been offered and the projects in which he is working are comedies. Be it this Friday's release, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, David Dhawan's under-production, Do Knot Disturb, Ravi Chopra's Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai or Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, most of his forthcoming ventures are light hearted fun flicks.

Not many will know that Govinda was offered the role played by Anil Kapoor in Subhash Ghai's TAAL but he refused it. Another role of substance that he rejected was Ganesh Acharya's Swami, the part that later went to Manoj Bajpai. So will Govinda learn from his missed opportunities and start doing more meaningful roles? Well it appears that we will have to wait for a while before we see the serious side of Govinda, as he is happy doing what he is doing right now, that is comedy! Govinda has categorically stated that he will not do any off beat or serious stuff right now. May be after a while, he will re-think.

Well, do we mind? Not really, but knowing that Govinda is a brilliant actor it does bother us to see him not showing his complete range as an actor, and restricting himself to roles and characters that do not really justify his talent.

However, keeping that aside Govinda looks in full form and in total control in today's laugh riot, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, so just go and enjoy it.

Item girl Rosa for Bobby Deol's Chamku.

Though her item number in Shaurya was hardly noticed and the one in small time film Deshdrohi is still waiting to hit theaters, the wait may finally be over for the Italian beauty with the arrival of Chamku. Starring Bobby Deol in the lead, Chamku (which also features Priyanka Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Irrfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Arya Babbar and Riteish Deshmukh) is a dramatic action thriller directed by Kabeer Kaushik and showcases Rosa in an eye candy appearance.

The number on which Rosa performs is said to be one trendy outing. Composed by Monty Sharma (of Saawariya fame), the song is believed to be one of its own kinds since Rosa would be lip synching to multiple languages. Not just that, the number is quite huge in grandeur since it features as many as 250 foreigners and 500 Indian Models. Moreover, the song is quite cool and urbane in nature due to a blend of hip-hop and techno beats.

Choreographed by Ahmed Khan who is hot and happening especially after his work with Shahid Kapoor in Kismat Konnection, the number is pitched as being an extra special ingredient of Chamku which otherwise has been designed as a tout thriller.

Now this is pretty much in contrast to her village girl act in Deshdrohi where she gyrates to a seductive number that is set in a style similar to that of 'Beedi Jalaile' [Omkaara]. Though flashes from the song were beamed all over a few months back when it was being picturised, one still waits to see it's arrival on the music channels even though the album hit the stores quite some time back.

With her number from Chamku slated to release soon, it would be quite some fun to witness Rosa in a dual role of dancing to a Western as well as hardcore Indian number (in Deshdrohi).
