Big B tweets asking every citizen to join anti-terror training program

MUMBAI: A day after serial blasts rocked Mumbai on Wednesday, Amitabh Bachchan posted a series of tweets asking all the citizens of India to act as policemen and join an anti-terror training programme that makes them capable of protecting themselves.

The actor wrote, "Each one of us will have to become a 'policeman' .. look, notice, observe, feel, sense the danger in every step and report."

Expressing his grief and sympathy, Bachchan added, "We have become a terrorist vulnerable nation .. when one is vulnerable, he learns to protect himself by himself."

Though the megastar requested Indians to turn into policemen, he also admitted that the security forces will always be needed by the citizens of India. The post also said "when vulnerable, let each one of us know that we are being watched and monitored." He also wrote "There are many vulnerable nations in the world .. knowing this they have made each citizen of theirs a watch dog, a fighting force."

Emphasising the need for training citizens in anti terror acts, Big B tweeted, "Let there be private or state professional units that take up the job and make it compulsory. Make that training programme mandatory for every citizen, every national of the country.. I shall be the first to join."
