You r-e-a-l-l-y met US President Barack Obama?
Yes. He is a thorough gentleman — simple and intelligent. I even invited him for the premiere of my film Love, Barack which he gracefully accepted. In fact, I feel that my life is the same as Obama's. I do not come from a filmi family, nor do I have a Godfather. I'm from Haryana, but I changed the rules of the industry with my work and so has Obama. I entered an industry dominated by ones who use their surname as a passport, yet I managed to make a name for myself. I think we both are changing the rules of the game in our own way.

Ameesha Patel - Reality Check!

Ameesha Patel has done a shoot for a housing project in Surat. Director-lyricist Sajan Agarwal was keen to have the actress associate herself with the bungalows on offer!

The shoot was done by Rakesh Shrestha and styled by Rocky S.

The actress changed nine outfits for the shoot. At the end of it, Ameesha will surely be singing Ek Bangla Bane Nyara... In the past the actress had also associated herself with a housing project in Navi Mumbai.

Why the decision to move from television serials to mainstream movies?
I'm always ready to do things based on my gut. When you make things for TV, it has to be en masse because television prohibits you as far as niche programming goes. Even if there's niche programming, the numbers are so small that you can never get any creative expression. For TV your product needs to be en masse. With films, you can experiment more.
