Kangana wants Aamir

Anew director who wants to make his Bollywood debut approached Kangna Ranaut for his film Chalo Driver (working title). Kangna met the director, loved the script and agreed to revert to him after reading it. However, she told the newbie director that she would prefer to work with Aamir Khan on this film.

When the director informed her that he had no access to Aamir, Kangna took the onus of “getting him Aamir”. Our source says, “Kangna apparently called Aamir, who told her to leave the script at his office, saying his scriptreading department would read it and then get back to her.” Everyone who knows Aamir well is aware that the actor is committed to Reema Kagti’s suspense thriller right now; and he has Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 3 from January 2012. So anyone else who comes to him with a new project will have wait for their turn.

Aamir and Kangna were supposed to team up in Ghajini — Kangna was originally cast in the role that eventually went to Jiah Khan. However, she was unceremoniously dropped from the project because some news about the film was leaked to the media, and the finger of suspicion pointed to Kangna. Perhaps the actress can make it up to Aamir if this script of Chalo Driver is as great as she says it is.
