Om gives Mallika a new name

Mallika Sherawat has been given a new name by her co-star Om Puri. “I had heard stories about her and was apprehensive about shooting with her. But when we met, she was different from what I expected. She’s from Rohtak and is still a simple, innocent smalltown girl at heart. When I told her I was from Patiala, we hit it off instantly,” says Om. The actor says he’s shocked by tales of her tantrums. “She didn’t throw one tantrum during the song. I’ve named her Mallika Sharafat.”
