Abhishek Bachchan plans to take half the day off tomorrow for a bash

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai celebrate four years of marital bliss tomorrow. And AB Jr, who is busy promoting Dum Maaro Dum has decided to take half the day off and spend it with his wife.

A source reveals, "DMD is just two days away from release. Abhishek and the cast has been travelling nonstop promoting the film. They recently went to Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat and are in Indore today."

Since AB is very close to producer-director Rohan Sippy, he has planned to ask him to give him some time off on Wednesday.

Hot new Miss India Kanishtha is a Haryanavi jat girl

She is a Haryana native, she studied in Mumbai and her mother lives in Delhi. As Kanishtha Dhankar sets out for the world to face some tough competition as the new Miss India, she says she would like to use her title to work for the rural masses like her grandfather.

"I can feel the power that the Miss India title has. It's been just a few days and I can already think of so many things that I can do with this platform, " the 22-year-old, who hails from Kasni, Haryana, told.

"My granddad has been actively involved in a lot of social work and I want to do the same like educating the rural masses, getting funds for a village's development or spreading HIV awareness, " she said.

Kanishtha, Ankita Shorey and Hasleen Kaur won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI)-World 2011, Miss India International and Miss India Earth respectively at the grand finale held at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai Thursday.

The director is keen to recreate the magic of Rangeela's music with AR Rahman

Close to 16 years after they first collaborated on the chart-busting score of Rangeela, Ram Gopal Varma is keen to work on a sequel with AR Rahman to re-create the magic of his 1995 blockbuster.

Where did that come from, you ask? Varma met AR Rahman at the launch of the music composer's biography last week, and the incident led the director to want to work with Rahman again.

At the launch, Rahman thanked Mani Ratnam, Subhash Ghai, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Varma, for their contribution to his career. But he only took the name of one film -- Rangeela. That's when Varma began to think about a Rangeela sequel.

'Rockstar' Ranbir's new interest

Kapoor attends recording sessions with A R Rahman

Ranbir Kapoor, who plays a musician in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar is taking special interest in the making of the film's music. He's making frequent trips to Chennai, where composer A R Rahman is recording the songs of the film.

This is the first time RK plays a rock star and is working with the Oscar-winning composer. Much like his seniors, he is taking keen interest in the stronger elements of his film.

Informs a source, "Rahman is working on the film in his Chennai studio. Whenever Ranbir finds the time, he sits in on the sessions."
